Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using KzTickets, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you're using KzTickets on behalf of an organization, you're agreeing on that organization's behalf.

Accounts

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. Organizations may add co-owners and staff with different levels of access, and the organization is responsible for what its members do within it.

Organizer Responsibilities

Organizers are responsible for the accuracy of their event listings, for delivering the event as described, and for setting and honoring their own refund policy. KzTickets facilitates ticket sales and check-in but is not a party to the event itself.

Payments & Fees

Paid ticket sales are processed through Stripe. KzTickets deducts a platform fee (disclosed to organizers in their account settings) from each paid transaction; the remainder is paid out to the organizer's connected Stripe account. Free events are never charged a fee.

Ticket Purchases & Refunds

All ticket sales are final unless the organizer issues a refund. Organizers, not KzTickets, decide whether and when to refund a ticket buyer. Once an organizer issues a refund using KzTickets, KzTickets Platform's fee will be refunded as well.

Prohibited Uses

You may not use KzTickets to list fraudulent or illegal events, resell tickets in violation of an organizer's terms, circumvent platform fees, or interfere with the platform's normal operation.

Limitation of Liability

KzTickets is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, KzTickets is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or attendance at an event listed on it.

Suspension and Termination

KzTickets may, at its sole discretion and at any time, with or without notice and with or without cause, suspend, restrict, unpublish, or permanently delete any event, organization, or account on the platform. This includes, without limitation, disabling ticket sales, check-in, payouts connected through the platform, and access to the dashboard. KzTickets is not required to give a reason for any such action. Deletion may be permanent and irreversible, and KzTickets is not obligated to retain or return any data associated with a deleted event or organization. To the fullest extent permitted by law, KzTickets shall not be liable to you or any third party (including your attendees) for any suspension, removal, or deletion. You remain solely responsible for any obligations to your attendees, including refunds, arising from such action.

Payments for paid orders go directly to the organizer's own connected Stripe or PayPal account, not to KzTickets. If an event is suspended, unpublished, or deleted, the organizer, not KzTickets, is responsible for refunding attendees. You may stop using KzTickets at any time.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state of Michigan.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice.
